Founded in 2016, the Stand With A Girl (SWAG) Initiative is a youth-led NGO driven by the belief that every girl deserves the opportunity to fulfill her maximum potential. We believe in girls' rights to health, education, dignity, and leadership.
Through community-based programs across Nigeria, we empower adolescent girls and young women with knowledge, skills, and platforms to become confident leaders and advocates for change.
Our work spans four interconnected areas that together create lasting, holistic change for girls and women across Nigeria.
Learn MorePromoting SRHR, menstrual hygiene, and access to health services for adolescent girls.
Ensuring girls stay in school and acquire life and vocational skills for economic independence.
Equipping girls and women with leadership skills, financial literacy and tools to lead change.
Advocating for sexual and reproductive health rights and championing gender equality.
Your donation empowers girls to reclaim their future. Every contribution counts.

"Before SWAG, I had no access to menstrual hygiene products. Now, I never miss school during my period. SWAG changed my life completely."
"The leadership training I received from SWAG has empowered me to speak boldly about girls' rights in my community. I am now a change agent."
"SWAG gave me a sewing machine and training. I now run a small business and can provide for my children. I am so grateful."
Together we can empower every girl to stand tall and fulfill her potential. There are many ways to get involved.

SWAG Initiative's Dignity in Menstruation (DIM) Project continues to break taboos and empower girls with menstrual hygiene education across Nigeria.
